I come from and currently have a military family (Ret. Air force, Ret. Marines, Active Army and Active Marines). In 2010 I retired from the San Antonio Fire Department, working in Management and Budget. I have substituted for BISD for 3 years and I volunteered in many community programs like "Meals on Wheels". I held offices for several of my children's PTO's. I love to serve the public sector and feel honored to work for our community library./p>
My passions include: world-wide travel, Non-Fiction books about Europe, watching our backyard birds, playing with our labs DW & Mayor Hudson, cooking with my amazing husband, watching College Football and watching anything through PBS-KLRN - especially British series and movies.
