Off-site in Comfort
How much history can you pack into a two-block walk in Comfort? Turns out, quite a bit! Come learn more about this heritage-rich hamlet with a tour of downtown Comfort. We’ll meet at the Comfort Heritage Foundation, 640 High Street, and tour their archives and resources. We’ll follow this up with a stroll down High Street to the private museum of Roy Perkins — chockful of artifacts and items related to the early pioneers of Kendall County. We’ll follow up with dutch treat lunch at The High Café, and from there you can choose to head home, or grab a map and do your own self-guided walking tour of the homes in the immediate vicinity. To RSVP, email [email protected] or call Robin at 830-249-3053 no later than Friday, February 10 so that we can get an appropriate head count to the groups and restaurant.
Patrick Heath Public Library Lobby
Meet with Alison Topper for technical assistance in the main lobby.
