Since 1850, Main Plaza has been a center point of trade for the people of Boerne. In the present day, on the second weekend of every month, Main Plaza is home to a magical outdoor market that blends the traditions of the Texas Hill Country with the creations of today’s culture. Hundreds of festive booths display everything from collectibles and remembrances of the past to modern innovations that will bring a smile of wonder to those who stroll past.
The Old Jail Museum
Tour the Old Jail Museum and enjoy its unique exhibits.
Every second and fourth Saturdays of the month, bring your instrument and play along, or just come to listen to the Bluegrass Jam at The AgriCultural! (Formerly the Agricultural Heritage Museum) This event is free and open to the public.
Next Door to the Library
The Bookshop Under the Windmill is open Wed - Sat from 10 am to 2 pm. Find some great books, magazines, and movies... all at great prices! The Bookshop is run by the Friends of the Boerne Public Library. Funds raised through the shop go back to the PHPL!
PHPL Youth Activity Room
Concoct some scrumptious signature treats from the 50’s each week. Class size limited to 30 children per week. First come, first served.
Patrick Heath Public Library
Author Ben H. English is an author from the Big Bend area. He will be our featured Second Saturday author in July. Please stop by the Library's lobby on Saturday, July 9th, from 11 am to 1 pm, to take a look at the author's books. Signed books make great gifts!
