Join the City of Boerne for its annual Independence Day Fireworks Show at City Park.
About the Show
The City of Boerne will host its annual Independence Day Fireworks Show on Monday, July 4, 2022, at City Park. The show will begin 30 minutes after sunset, which should be around 8:40 p.m. That means the fireworks should start around 9:15 p.m.
This event is free and open to the public. Free parking for the fireworks show will be available at City Park and Champion High School.
What to Bring
Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets to sit on during the show. Please do not bring tents or other pop-up shade structures.
Pets are allowed at the event but must be on a leash, per city ordinance. If you do bring your pet, please be confident they will be OK during the fireworks show.
Outside food and drinks are allowed, but no glass containers or bottles.
Weather
The show will go on unless it rains or it is deemed too windy to safely shoot off the fireworks. A determination will be made on the day of the event whether it will be postponed. Follow the City of Boerne on Facebook and Twitter and on the website for the latest information.
As you celebrate throughout the Fourth of July weekend, please remember it is illegal to use fireworks and handheld sparklers within the city limits of Boerne, including Boerne City Lake, the Kendall Co. Fairgrounds, and all city parks.
