1. Does it cost to get into Boerne City Lake Park?

If you are a non-resident (DO NOT pay a city utility or city property tax) then you are subject to the parking fee. 

• $10 per car Monday – Thursday   $15 per car Friday – Sunday    $20 per car Holidays  
• Discount for age 65+, Active retired military or reservist, Disabled Citizens - $5 any day
• Free to all disabled veterans with a 60%+ disability

2. What paperwork is needed to get my free RESIDENT City Lake Park parking stickers?

Driver License and a City of Boerne utility bill or property tax statement showing you paid a City of Boerne property Tax

3. Do I need a fishing license to fish at Boerne City Lake Park?

All Texas Department of Wildlife rules apply. Please refer to TPWD website.

4. Can I drive my gas powered boat on Boerne City Lake?

We do allow boats with combustion engines on the lake but you MAY NOT start the engine even when trailering your boat.  ONLY ELECTRIC MOTORS are allowed to run on the Lake.

5. Does the City of Boerne have a dog park?

The City of Boerne does not have a dog park.  Kendall Country Parks does have a dog park located at

Joshua Springs Park and Preserve, 716 FM 289 Comfort, TX 78013

6. How do I register for swim lessons?

Swim lessons open on May 1^st.  The beginner classes fill fast. You may go online and register or you may call our office (830-248-1635) and register over the phone with a credit card.  You are always welcome to come by the office (1017 Adler St)  to register.

7. How can I get an advertisement or an announcement shown during the Movie in the Park?
