Out of an abundance of caution, the City of Boerne has revoked all special event permits and facility use agreements through the end of March and canceled several city-sponsored events.
The move comes amid concerns about the COVID-19 virus. At the bottom of this article is an updated and running list of events that have been canceled or postponed.
City leadership also made the decision to close City Hall and Utilities, the Patrick Heath Public Library, Parks and Recreation Office, Boerne Animal Shelter and the Visitor’s Center to all guests.
Meanwhile, Boerne Municipal Court is rescheduling its dockets.
Those needing to conduct business at City Hall will be able to schedule appointments in advance with the respective office/department. Anyone showing symptoms of illness will not be allowed, at the medic’s discretion.

Those who received a citation and have not contacted the court, they must still let the court know how they want to resolve the citation by the initial appearance date that is listed on the citation.
