As we approach the close of 2019, we’ve realized what a busy year of new businesses and openings it has been for our charming small town. The latest openings include men’s clothing, delicious bakery eats, a quaint new bookshop, healthy drinks and yummy beer brews!
The Boerne Bookshop- Hot off the presses! This shop, located inside the 153 Main building, houses a selection of general interest books for children and adults. It also has a growing section of local authors and regional interest resources.
The Local Juice Co.- The juice (and so much more!) started flowing last Friday. There is something for everyone here. Hop on a bar stool and order a cold-pressed juice, a fresh smoothie, a coffee beverage or your choice of a variety of bowls filled with tasty goodness. Need to fill a need in the afternoon or evening? Order up a colorful salad, a charcuterie board, a loaded toast or even a cocktail!
Richter Bakhaus – Boerne’s newest bakery and coffeehouse opened at the end of November. With artisan breads and sweet treats flying off the shelves, it’s easy to see why the community is excited that they joined the Hill Country Mile. In addition to baked goods, the Bakhaus has several options for coffee drinkers and tasty sandwiches for breakfast and lunch.
Bechants Men’s – We’re all familiar with Bechants and their exceptional merchandise and unparalleled customer service. In November, the business expanded and opened a new boutique across from their existing location that caters 100% to men. Products include active wear, casual and business attire, gifts, shoes, accessories and more.
Silber Brewing Company – Our brewery collection grew by one more in early November! As a small-batch American craft brewery, Silber focuses on showcasing high-quality ingredients in their product. Head on over to their inviting, comfortable taproom for a pint and some food truck eats. They are proud to feature a wide variety of brews that range from traditional ales to brews that show they know how to think outside the box.
