Boerne is a busy place when it comes to celebrating the spooky season! Events, specialties, and new experiences abound on Boerne’s Hill Country Mile this Halloween. If you’re looking for ways to get in on all of the fun, we’ve got your options lined up!
On October 25th-26th, an Old West jail experience hits downtown for some old-timey fun! Do your time and go through a trial by judge and a booking in the historic Kendall County Jail! A $5 “bail” is your entry, and after that—your fate is left to the court! No “juvies” allowed; only 12 and older are eligible to serve hard time!
Join the City of Boerne at the Patrick Heath Public Library for the 5th Annual Boerne Boo Celebration on October 26th! Costumes are definitely encouraged as there will be a costume contest for both children and adults. Visit each vendor and explore the Halloween festivities for a family-friendly time!
Soda Pops never disappoints with their annual Halloween Bash Hot Rod Night. Come out on October 26th for everything you love about a regularly scheduled Hot Rod Night, and end the HRN season with Trunk or Treating, costume contests for kids and adults, and live music by the Ricky Adams Band!
On October 30th, one of Boerne’s newest hangout spots is having their very first Halloween party! There will be live music, hors d’oeuvres, a blind wine tasting, and a Main Street Pumpkin Carving Contest featuring retailers from our very own Hill Country Mile.
Celebrate Halloween on October 26th with your crew at Tusculum Brewing Co. Indulge in a craft, house-made beer and some delicious pub grub in their renovated gathering spaces for a grand ol’ time! Dress your best for their costume contest as well.
The William Hotel is celebrating the Day of the Dead with their own Dia de los Muertos balcony party! Dress in your most “killer” costume and enjoy professional face painting, gourmet food and beverages, and decorating sugar skulls (for the kiddos)! Traditional music will play during the fun as The William aims to stick closely to the true spirit of the holiday this November 1st!
Selfies at Shops and Stops
In between stops from one venue to another, notice there are lots of stores all along the Hill Country Mile who have set-up decorations and spaces perfect for selfies and group photos! If you didn’t take a selfie, did it really happen? Prove you were here, and be sure to tag us in your photos for a chance to see it reposted.
