6 Unique Boerne Rentals For Your Next Vacation!

Philip Manor Square

Are you one that prefers the amenities of a cozy house when traveling? Short term rental properties are popping up all over the place – including Boerne! While there are lots of options in town to maximize your stay in the Hill Country, we have picked 6 rental properties to look into for your next getaway. What’s great is that all of the properties we have listed here are just a short walk or drive from Boerne’s historic Hill Country Mile! We think you will love all that these charming guest homes have to offer.

1. The Coop

The Coop is an early 1900’s, newly renovated farmhouse that is perfect for sleeping 2 guests. It is located in the historic Irons’ and Grahams’ neighborhood in Boerne, which was established in 1887. This adorable space comes complete with a full-size kitchen, a queen size bed, washer and dryer units, and a full bathroom. Take advantage of the two outside decks for enjoying morning coffee or a peaceful evening as the Boerne sun sets while overlooking the Frederick Creek. High speed internet and cable TV are also on the list of amenities! You’ll love the big oak tree that sits on the property, and the little red barn that adds to its country charm.

2. Garden House on Pecan

The Garden House on Pecan Street is a beautiful space that has also been recently remodeled and is great for 2 guests! It is a guest house on the same property as the owners’ 1907 Victorian home. It comes with complete access to a pool, hot tub, game room and bocce court. You’ll love the recessed lighting elements, cozy couch, full-size kitchen, queen-size bed, and large flat-screen TV. This guest house is also located just walking distance from all that Boerne’s downtown has to offer – so leave the car and go explore! This is a perfect getaway spot for anniversaries, birthdays, or weddings.

3. The Legendary Texas Polo Club at Phillip Manor Square

The Legendary Texas Polo Club at Phillip Manor Square, a luxury boutique bed and breakfast, is actually a historic property! Legend has it that the first game of polo ever played in America took place right here at The Square. There are 4 guest rooms available for rent, all elegantly decorated to pay homage to its heritage. You’ll even find an old-timey saloon which is open Friday and Saturday from 5pm-midnight (closed to the public, but open for guests and private events)! It is also a perfect spot for large wedding parties, family gatherings, or corporate retreats.

4. Boerne Bungalow

This stylish guest home, the Boerne Bungalow, can sleep up to 3 guests and is perfect for couples or a girls’ retreat! This little hideaway has a common area with modern flare, a comfy queen-size bed, a kitchen with all the essentials for making your own meals (if you choose), and 1.5 bathrooms. While it sits close to Boerne’s downtown, it is also a short distance from the Cibolo Nature Center for anyone who enjoys a little hike during their vacay!

5. The Inn At 701

Dreaming of a vintage country cottage getaway? You’ll go starry-eyed over tall ceilings, hardwood floors, newly renovated kitchen and bathrooms, chandeliers, a coffee station, farmhouse décor and other rustic elements at The Inn at 701! This rental property can comfortably sleep up to 6 guests, and has a large, private deck that overlooks a beautifully landscaped backyard.

6. The Sunday House

This tiny guest home was built by hand using reclaimed materials with the goal of creating a space that is comfortable and relaxing for anyone who walks through its doors. The Sunday House is a perfect romantic escape for 2 guests, and comes complete with a queen-size memory foam mattress, kitchenette, a full bath with a shower, and a wood-burning stove for keeping warm and cozy in chillier months. Complimentary coffee is also available for java lovers who would enjoy a serene moment in their courtyard garden!

Check the online calendars for each property to see if one lines up with your next trip to Boerne.  Please stay tuned as we will have 6 more short term rental properties to share with you in another blog very soon – but for now, please see our website for a full directory listing of lodging as you iron out details for your next getaway!
