[ARCHIVED] Enjoy 2 more weekends of holiday fun in Boerne

dickens on main 2023 500-500

The holiday spirit has been on full display the last two weekends in downtown Boerne. First, we welcomed more than 57,000 people for Dickens on Main. Then, we saw more than 20,000 of our friends, family, and neighbors for Weihnachts weekend and the 36th-annual night parade.

Even though we’ve already welcomed nearly 80,000 revelers to Boerne, there are still two more weekends to experience the magic of the Hill Country Mile.

The next two events are smaller in comparison to Dickens on Main and Weihnachts, but both are a great time to bring out the family for some holiday fun.

A Taste to Olde Town | Dec. 8-10

First up is a Taste to Olde Town when we celebrate our olde town heritage with live music, Christmas-y beverages, and strolling carolers.

It’s a weekend full of late-night shopping, caroling, wassail tasting, pictures with Santa, market days at Main Plaza, and other Christmas markets.

Full Taste of Olde Town schedule.

Kinder Fest | Dec. 15-17

Rounding out the holiday events for the season is Kinder Fest with child-friendly events and programming all weekend long. This is the perfect event for the kiddos to enjoy on that first weekend of holiday break.

The weekend features a Cookie Crawl, Santa Scavenger Hunt, Santa, and even a Cowboy Christmas Market. Dust off those ugly sweaters and silly pajamas for a weekend of family fun.

Full Kinder Fest Schedule.

Ice-Skating Rink

For the first time ever there is an ice-skating rink in Boerne this holiday season. It is open daily through the end of December. Lace up some skates and take to the ice!
