Boerne on Ice: Outdoor ice-skating rink open for holiday season

Family of three skating

The City of Boerne is excited to bring one of the most iconic winter scenes to the Hill Country Mile this holiday season with a picturesque ice rink.

The rink is located at Waterworks Terrace (210 W. Blanco Road), just across from Main Plaza. Skaters can take to the ice starting Thanksgiving Day. The rink will be in town November 23 through December 31 and will be open from 3 – 10 p.m. daily.

It is highly recommended that you reserve your skating time online as walk-up skating will be very limited. Prices vary from $15-$22 based on the day of the week and the time you’d like to skate. Tickets include skate rental and one hour on the ice.

Book your reservation.

Children aged three and under are free. The rink will have dolphin skate aids for little ones to sit on and be pushed around the ice by an adult.

Children aged 12 and under require adult supervision while skating. Children aged five and under must be accompanied by an adult skater on the ice.

All participants must sign a waiver to skate.
