City of Boerne Launches Redesigned Website

The City of Boerne has launched a redesigned website with an emphasis on access to City services and ease of use for the public.

The improved design accomplishes several goals:

  • Quick access to the most sought-after information.
  • Modern, mobile-friendly design and improved navigation.
  • Full integration of new City branding across departments.

The website is also designed to fulfill web accessibility standards under the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) to include improved access for users with differing vision, hearing, and/or physical abilities.

All webpages affiliated with the City of Boerne will reflect the new design including, boernelibrary.org, visitboerne.org, buildinboerne.com, boerneutilities.com,  boerneparks.org, and Boerne News.

As part of the launch, some information has been moved or renamed. Overall, these changes are expected to improve access to information. However, if in the meantime you have trouble locating something, please contact the Communications Department ([email protected]) for assistance.

More than just new colors and pictures, the City has improved the site to prioritize the most popular information and ensure it can be located with just a few clicks.

This latest redesign is part of the City’s existing contract with its website platform, CivicPlus. The last major redesign of the City’s website was in 2019.
