Whether you’re interested in exhibiting and showing off your own car or admiring an over-the-top collection of beautiful vehicles while exploring Boerne’s Hill Country Mile, April is the month to come visit this spring. There will be not one but two car shows that are worth making the trip out to Boerne for.
Italian Motor Gathering- DATE UPDATE: Saturday, May 27, at Main Plaza (100 N. Main Street) from 10 am- 2 pm
Fancy a foreign make or model? This is the show for you! Main Plaza will be filled to the brim with exclusively Italian cars, motorcycles, and scooters. Spectators are welcome to come peruse the vehicles and visit other car enthusiasts at no cost. Interested in registering your own Italian beauty and participating in the pre-show Friday morning drive and evening welcome reception? Register online in advance and book your stay for the full weekend. Awards will be distributed at the end of the show as well.
After the Italian Motor Gathering, meander on over to Blacksmith Grill for a burger, beer, and another round of cars to admire. All makes and models are welcome and will be lining up along San Antonio Street to be admired.
This is one of Boerne’s longest-running downtown events as well as the only official Fiesta event outside of San Antonio. For the last 24 years, the association has been filling Main Plaza and lining the Hill Country Mile with an array of colorful vehicles. Spectators are welcome to come and enjoy the show, which boasts that it will have over 450 Corvettes, muscle cars, and classic cars and trucks from all over the state of Texas and beyond. Participants in the show can register now and can expect to enjoy a Friday night meet and greet featuring the former director of Corvette Racing for over 25 years and a Sunday drive in the hills with a lunch stop at Knoll’s Crossing.
Boerne is a popular location for car shows and events, so keep your eye on the calendar of events for upcoming events.
