Kick off rodeo season with a one-of-a-kind hat that you designed with the guiding hand of a hatter! J. Forks Designs has added a new offering to their shop. In addition to stunning hand-crafted jewelry, graphic tees, and clothing for women, men, and children, they now feature a hat bar and a complimentary whisky bar for shoppers to enjoy!
How to Create the Perfect Hat
Step 1: Reach out to the shop and schedule a time to design and craft your hat with their resident hatter, Hallie Forks Juliano. Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are recommended.
Step 2: Select a hat that calls your name from their wide array, or bring an old favorite from home to gussy up.
Step 3: Make a hat design plan with Hallie. What makes your heart happy? Peruse their selection of band options and accessories like ribbons, feathers, cards, matches, etc. You can also add a brand to your felt hat. Choose from letters, numbers, or iconic symbols like an arrow, the state of Texas, a bronc rider, or a star, just to name a few. If you prefer for your creation to appear well-worn and loved, make the decision to burn the hat in part or all over to add an antiqued look. If you want to take your customization to the next level, ask about having a unique design sketched and burned on by their leathersmith, Cody. He is a true artist, and you can see his handiwork in many of the jewelry designs around the shop.
Step 4: Stand back and watch the magic happen right before your very eyes as your intentionally designed hat comes to life.
Step 5: Wear your masterpiece with pride and tell the world where you made it.
Talk about a perfect souvenir from your escape to Boerne and the Texas Hill Country. You will be able to look back fondly on your time spent here with loved ones every time you don your special headgear.
