Boerne Fire Department hosts school supplies drive

The Boerne Fire Department is hosting a school supplies drive through August 1 at the Fire Station. The department is partnering with United Texas Credit Union to gather the supplies, which will be delivered to Curington Elementary.

What to Donate

Click here to see a list of supplies students at Curington will need to help them learn during the new school year. Some of the items include:

  • Paper: lined paper, copy paper, construction paper, spiral notebooks, composition books, index cards
  • Pencils and pens: red pens, number 2 pencils, colored pencils, erasers, pencil sharpener, pencil cases, colored markers, crayons, highlighters
  • Classroom staples: rulers, glue sticks, scissors, sandwich/gallon bags, dry erase markers, headphones, pocket folders
  • Things they always need: hand sanitizer, disinfecting wipes, tissue boxes

When to Donate

You can drop off your donations at the Fire Station (726 N. Main Street) weekdays from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. now through August 1, 2022.

If you aren’t able to bring supplies to the Fire Station but would still like to donate, you can give a monetary donation online to help with the purchase of supplies. Click here to donate online.
