The Boerne Police Department promoted 11 officers at a ceremony on Thursday, July 7, 2022, led by Chief Steve Perez.
Perez introduced each officer and read a list of accomplishments and recognitions they have received during their service in the department. This was the largest promotion ceremony in the history of the department.
“It is an honor to oversee the promotion of these officers and to work alongside them ever day,” Chief Perez said. “Each of these men and women have demonstrated a commitment to our community and to their profession. We are grateful for the support of the Boerne community.”
The ceremony included the promotion of four corporals, four sergeants, and three lieutenants. Friends and family members of the officers were in attendance, along with city staff and administration.
