Almost 30 pets found their forever home at a Boerne Animal Care Services adoption event May 7 at Tusculum Brewing Company.

The furry friends included 20 kittens and six puppies, all of which were under the care of Boerne ACS.

“We are so thrilled with the turnout for this event and that we were able find homes for these loveable pets,” ACS Supervisor Stefanie Fisher said. “Our staff and volunteers did a wonderful job preparing the kittens and puppies for adoption. We would also like to thank all those who donated and helped to sponsor the event.”

The event was made possible with the support of several generous sponsors and donors, including David Brim, Theresa Scanell, Dr. Michael Sorace, CW Contractor and Services, Welcome Home Real Estate, and Under the Fig Tree.

In addition to the adoption event, a donation drive was also held to benefit the ACS shelter. Donations included pet supplies, bandanas, snacks and drinks for the event, and $500 in financial support.
