It looks like the nip of winter’s cooler temperatures has passed. The wildflowers may still be a few weeks away, but, it is time for al fresco dining and drinking, nature hikes and park exploration, live music, and outdoor community events again!
Embrace Your Natural Side
The calendar is filling up fast with festive fun that is sure to entertain all members of your crew, so take a gander and take note of events that will get you out and about like Farmers Market Saturdays, guided Night Hikes for families and adults-only, workshops, and Moondance concerts at the Cibolo Center for Conservation.
Get Your Art On
Both Gallery 195 and Texas Treasures Art Gallery will be celebrating an anniversary this April. Sip on a glass of wine and chat with the local artists that display their works in both spaces during their parties. The Boerne Art Waddle will be spread out along the Cibolo Trail on the second weekend of May. Make plans to check out that event while shopping the Hill Country Mile and Boerne Market Days which is held monthly on the second weekend at Main Plaza.
Car Events
Car enthusiasts are always excited about the Texas Corvette Associations’ annual car show, being held on April 2nd this year, but have you heard of the Triumph’s South Central Regional Car Show? It will be held at Main Plaza on April 22nd. Black Rifle Coffee Co. and Tusculum Brewing Co will both be including car gatherings throughout the spring and summer months on their calendars as well, so take note of those dates while planning your visit to Boerne.
Live Music
With warmer weather comes outdoor live music around every corner. In addition to the every-other- week traditional Abendkonzerte events that take over Main Plaza starting June 7th, restaurants, breweries, and venues along the Hill Country Mile and beyond beckon visitors to sit back, relax, and enjoy some tunes. Keep tabs on the Visit Boerne Facebook page’s event listings for even more musical offerings.
By no means is this an all-inclusive list of festivities to participate in. The Boerne Visitors Center’s calendar is growing with events to add to your checklist each day so check back regularly to maximize your Boerne experience.
