It’s not uncommon to see residents or visitors to Boerne joined by their four-legged friends while exploring the parks, trails, and Hill Country Mile attractions and activities. Pups feel right at home enjoying a live music show while their owners sip a craft brew or grab a tasty meal on the patio. We’ve discovered a handful of places that you can pick up a special treat for your fur baby to enjoy side by side while you indulge in your own merriment here in Boerne!
Salty and Sweet recently welcomed Sweets by Rosey to the shop and she fills her case with delicacies of all sorts including “Pup Cups”. They consist of their homemade carrot cake with a light peanut butter frosting and are topped with a Milk-Bone. The doggies can’t get enough of these goodies!
TREAT! Did somebody say TREAT!? Dip Ice Cream, located inside of The Boerne Trading Co. just added a special treat to their menu just for Fido and you can snag it for FREE! @padme_da_rat loved her Puppy Cone. Remember human babies under two also get a free Baby Cone. If they want it dipped, it’s ONLY $1! Ice cream all around!
Fetch and Friskers Barkery and Bow-tique has been the go-to boutique for handmade puppy treats on the Hill Country Mile for quite a while and they are still cranking out a wide variety of adorable biscuits and cookies all the time! Have a special event like a birthday or “Gotcha Day”, they can make a custom treat just for your special doggo. SO CUTE! They also carry a line of frozen yogurt treats in a variety of flavors.
There are a few places just off the Mile that have surprises that your pups may love too. The Bubble Tea Factory has folks regularly ask for boba for their dogs and they happily oblige at no cost! Our sweet little friend @padme_da_rat is also a fan of these little bursts of sweetness in her mouth. How fun is that? Ever heard of a Pupuccino? Starbucks stores across the nation will hand one over to your furry friend to enjoy for free if you ask! What’s in a Pupuccino you may ask? It’s simply whipped cream in an espresso cup. They sure do love them though!
It must be good to be a dog in Boerne!
