Memorial Day is right around the corner and Boerne is excited to play host to not one but two new events that are sure to bring friends and family together for a good time. If you plan your weekend schedule right you can participate in BOTH of these fun-filled events in the same weekend! Slather yourself in sunscreen and prepare for a full weekend of festivities, food, and family fun!
Saturday, May 29, from Noon-Midnight at Don Strange Ranch
Get ready to party out at the ranch with the whole family! For $20 per carload, guests can enjoy an all-day music lineup including Dave Fenley, C-Rock, Texas Double Shot, Joe Tidwell, Roadside Libby, Smoke Wagon, Cody Hibbard, and The Klocks. Sign up for fun activities like Dachshund Races, Trike Races, and a Watermelon Eating Contest. Tickets for ziplining will also be available at the event. Arts and craft vendors will be on-site for some fun shopping. Bring your lawn chairs, order up a beer and something to eat, and enjoy a fun day in the Texas Hill Country.
For additional event details check out the Facebook pages for Don Strange Ranch & Boerne Berges Fest. Funds raised at this event benefit the Boerne Berges Fest Scholarship Fund. Stay tuned for more information about Berges Fest as plans develop.
