Boerne’s fun factor has jumped up again just in time for summer vacation planning! There’s a handful of exciting new businesses and attractions that you are going to want to know about as you begin brainstorming your next Boerne visit. There's a little something for everyone including some active fun for the wee ones, a new choice for touring through the hill country, some can't-miss shops on the Hill Country Mile that you're sure to love, and two new guesthouses to call home while you're here in Boerne!
Arrows Active Play Park JUST opened this week and families are already singing its praises. The kiddos are leaving tuckered out and smiling while parents are pleased that their little ones had a blast and they got to kick back. Head to the café located inside the play park itself and order up a cup of coffee and a tasty sandwich to nosh on as well. Day passes, memberships and party bookings are now available too.
Area wineries, breweries, and distilleries are open and ready for you to come and sip with them! Boerne Wine Tours is owned by locals who know all the hot spots that you will love. Whether you have an itinerary in mind or you need help crafting your outing, they are here for you. They will even come to pick you up from your Boerne area hotel to start your Hill Country adventure!
Cauble Rose Painting Company hosted their Boerne grand opening public event at Main Plaza last week and it was attended by dozens of ladies who had a blast! Keep an eye out for future public events or give them a buzz to schedule an intimate painting experience in their studio or your own space!
Located in an adorable historic house down on the Hill Country Mile, Mainly Vintage has been open to the public for about a month. They have quickly become a place to frequent for vintage, rescued, and antique furniture and home decor that you are sure to love.
Bison Union Co. opened their doors inside Sach’s Garage this spring. They have been known to give away free coffee and beer on occasion, so swing over to pick up a cool graphic tee and a hat or a bag of ground coffee, which they are known for, and maybe a free sip of something special. They are also pet friendly, so feel free to bring your pooch in to say hi to the shop dog, Brumby Dog, who has an Instagram account all its own!
