We hear that The Dienger Trading Co, The Christmas Shoppe, Southern Voice, and Salty & Sweet, have special basket building bars with a variety of theme options, cute containers, and sweet accessories needed to craft the perfect Easter basket for special little bunnies of all ages. Bring your own basket to fill or grab one there!
Easter brunch or lunch is a favorite tradition for many families. There are a handful of locations around town offering special menus and happenings. We highly recommend making your reservation in advance. Here are the details and a sneak peek of the offerings that can be expected in a few of the restaurants included in Boerne’s brunch scene.
- The Bevy Hotel- Call (830) 816-5606 for reservations. Expect: Fabulous selections including Smoked Brisket Hash with Sunny Side Up Eggs. After brunch, at 11:30 am, The Bevy Hotel will host a special egg hunt open to the public in the Grand Ball Room. Bring your baskets and get ready to run!
- Peggy’s on the Green- Call (830) 572-5000 for reservations. Expect: Their fabulous brunch menu plus a few extra special options for the Easter holiday. Also, kids will get excited for a visit from the Easter Bunny and extra special treats!
- Joshua Creek Ranch- Call (830) 537-5090 for reservations. Expect: A tasty buffet including offerings such as Deviled Eggs, Apricot Glazed Ham, Smoked Turkey, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, a Green Bean and Pepper Medley, Carrot Cake, and Chocolate Dirt Cups.
Prepare for Easter guests young and old with a cookie decorating kit from Richter Boerne! All the needed supplies are included to decorate the prettiest cookies you’ve ever made. Kits are filled with tasty cookies, icing, and special sprinkles and decorations. Head to their website to place your order prior to April 3rd!
In addition to the traditional Easter activities and festivities, this weekend will provide a few events that you won’t want to miss. Fill your Saturday with A Day at the Farm including the Farmers Market, A tour of Boerne in a Hot Rod Taxi, and close out the day with a night out on the town! This is the FIRST First Saturdays in Boerne event and shops will be open late for your last second Easter shopping needs!
