Spring Events

Chocolate Walk

Stroll through historic downtown Boerne collecting chocolate treats at participating stores and businesses along Main Street.

Brighten Up Boerne

Each year we invite residents to take a plain old boring trash can and transform it into a work of art. A different theme is picked each year.

Join Parks and Recreation throughout the month of April at dozens of fitness classes around town as we get moving and stay active.

Outdoor Family Fair

The Outdoor Family Fair provides Kendall County families the opportunity to learn about local services and organizations in the area.

Family Fishing Tournament

Join us on the first Saturday of June at Boerne City Lake for the Family Fishing Tournament. Teams compete to see who can land the biggest catch.

Family Campout

Each year, we host a fun-filled Family Campout at Boerne City Lake. It's the only time for the entire year camping is allowed at the park.

Arbor Day

Celebrate Arbor Day with Boerne Parks and Recreation! Join us each year in November as we plant trees at our local parks.

Parade of Lights

The Parade of Lights is an opportunity to showcase your home or business decked out in holiday cheer. It's also a great way to spend an evening as you cruise around Boerne and take in the sights.

Weihnachts Parade

The Weihnachts Parade is a beloved Christmas tradition in Boerne, dating back more than 30 years. Always on the first Saturday of December, the parade is held at night along historic and charming Main Street.

Clean Up Events
