Permitting and Code Compliance

Department Overview

The Permitting and Code Compliance department ensures the City of Boerne is home to safe, high-quality residential and commercial buildings that are well-constructed, well-maintained, and in compliance with all ordinances as adopted by City Council.

The primary role of this office is to eliminate hazards that could affect public safety. While Code Compliance officers can issue citations, our goal is for problems to be remedied by the property owner.
