Boerne City Council holds regularly scheduled meetings at 6 p.m. on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at City Hall, 447 N. Main Street.

District 4 Council Member Vacancy
District 4 City Councilman Bryce Boddie submitted his resignation to City Council at the Sept. 12, 2023, meeting. The resignation was accepted in a 5-0 vote.
Per the City of Boerne Charter, City Council had 30 days to fill the vacancy. Boddie can continue to serve on City Council until the vacancy is filled.
Candidates interested in serving must have maintained residency in District 4 for at least six months. The filing period was open from September 13 to September 22 at 5 p.m. It is now closed. The City received one application for the open seat. City Council interviewed Bret Bunker in executive session during the Sept. 26, 2023, meeting before voting to appoint him to fill the remainder of the term. Bunker will take over the District 4 seat at the Oct. 10, 2023, meeting and serve the remainder of the term, which will expire in May 2025. Read more about the appointment.
