Establish Residential Utility Services
To establish utility services at your home, you must complete the Residential Service Contract application. Please review the information below and read the application in its entirety before completing the application.

Deposits / Credit Letters
A deposit will be required as a condition of service unless a valid credit reference letter from a previous utility company is received. A deposit will be required as a condition of service. Deposits are based on one-sixth (1/6) of the previous 12-month billing history at each location. A valid credit reference letter from your previous utility company must show a 12-month credit history within the last 24 months with no more than one late payment.
Credit references may be obtained by contacting your previous or current utility provider and requesting that a credit reference be emailed to [email protected] or faxed to Utilities Customer Care and Billing at (830) 249-2580. If a credit reference is not valid, service will not be turned on. You cannot assume that services will be turned on because you had a credit reference sent from a prior utility company. Please verify the validity with us.
Personal References
The Residential Service Contract includes a request for a personal reference to allow for emergency contact in the event there is a problem with your utilities and you cannot be reached. This reference should be someone who would know how to contact you in the event of an emergency.
Submitting a Residential Service Contract
Each applicant must sign this form and must provide a valid US government issued identification card (ex. copy of valid US driver’s license). Service applied for by noon can be turned on the same day except for gas service. Gas service requires a prescheduled appointment and an adult (18 or older) be present when the gas is turned on. A copy of applicant's lease is required for apartments.

Transfer Residential Utility Services
If you are moving or need to transfer your residential utility services to another residence, you must complete the Residential Service Contract application and submit a Utilities Disconnect Form.
The Residential Service Contract is the same form used to establish service. Please review the information above under “Establish Utility Service” for specific information about the Residential Service Contract and how to submit it to Boerne Utilities.
Disconnect Residential Utility Services
If you need to disconnect residential utility service, you will need to complete the Disconnect Utility Service form. Click here to download the Disconnect Utility Service form.
When requesting your disconnect date, please select a date that falls on a weekday. Requests for Saturday and Sunday will automatically be scheduled for the following Monday or next available working day. We normally offer same day service if your request is submitted prior to noon on that day. However, we appreciate as much advance notice as possible.
