Establish Commercial Utility Services
Code Enforcement Inspection
To establish commercial utility services, you must first have a Code Enforcement inspection completed at the location and submit the approved New Commercial Business Transfer of Utilities form to Boerne Utilities. This can be done in the following steps:
- Download the New Commercial Business Transfer of Utilities form.
- Contact Code Enforcement to schedule an inspection date by calling (830) 248-1529 or by emailing [email protected].
- Submit the New Commercial Business Transfer of Utilities form to Code Enforcement by email at [email protected] or in person at City Hall, located at 447 N. Main St. in Boerne.
- Meet Code Enforcement at the inspection location to receive the approved New Commercial Business Transfer of Utilities form with inspectors’ signature and notes.
- Submit completed and approved New Commercial Business Transfer of Utilities form to Boerne Utilities Customer Service by email to [email protected], by fax to (830) 249-2580, or in person at City Hall, located at 447 N. Main St. in Boerne.
Commercial/General Service Contract Application
Once you have completed an inspection with Code Enforcement and submitted the approved New Commercial Business Transfer of Utilities form, you will then be able to submit the Commercial/General Service Contract application to formally apply for services with Boerne Utilities. Please review the information below and read the application in its entirety before completing the application.

- A deposit will be required as a condition of service. Deposits are based on one-sixth (1/6) of the previous 12-month billing history at each location. Commercial deposits will be held for 36 months, and then released if no more than two payments were late.
- Each applicant must sign this form and must provide a valid US government issued identification card (ex. copy of valid US driver’s license). Service applied for by noon can be turned on the same day except for gas service. Gas service requires a prescheduled appointment and an adult present when the gas is turned on.
