Special Event Permit Application

Please read the Special Event Permit application in its entirety and submit this application with ALL required supporting documents at the same time. Please note that the permit application has new requirements including department head meetings that were not previously required. Contact the appropriate personnel in a timely manor to schedule a meeting to expedite your permit approval process. Incomplete permit applications will not be accepted.

Facility Rules and Fees

Facilities are reserved on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please reserve a facility as soon as you know you would like to use the space. Facilities should be rented by contacting Parks and Recreation Department at (830) 248-1635. Payment may be made by credit card over the phone.

Athletic Event Permit

Please read the Athletic Event Permit application in its entirety and submit this application with ALL required supporting documents at the same time. Please note that the permit application has new requirements including department head meetings that were not previously required. Contact the appropriate personnel in a timely manor to schedule a meeting to expedite your permit approval process. Incomplete permit applications will not be accepted.

Theatrical Fire Permit

This permit is for open flame devices used in conjunction with theatrical performances.

Filming Permit

The filming permit application will be reviewed by the City of Boerne Parks and Recreation Department head and you will be contacted within 72 hours of the start filming time of approval or denial of permit.

Vendor Permit

Park Vendor Permits will be issued on a per event basis only. Applicants must reapply for Vendor Permits for each additional activity or tournament.

Street Closures and Off-Duty Police

Street Closures

Please note that if you plan to close a street for your event you will be required to meet with the Police Department to discuss your closure and its requirements.
