Library Computers
The library provides 10 adult computers, eight teen computers, four youth computers, and four youth iPads with access to the internet, as well as use of the programs in Microsoft Office. We also offer eight laptops to be used in the library. The youth computers do have filtering on them. All the computers have printing capabilities.
Computer Access: We ask that residents of Kendall County sign up for a library card if you don’t already have one. If you are a regular patron to the library, live outside of the county, and you are unable or unwilling to purchase a membership, then we can offer you a Digital Access Card, which allows you use of the computers only. If you’re a library guest, then we can print you a guest pass for the day.
Personal Devices
We offer free Wi-Fi access throughout the building. If you need to charge your device, please feel free to one of several charging stations on both floors.
Printing and Scanning Options
Our printing services cost 25 cents for each black and white page and $1 for each color page. Scanning and faxing services are free of charge.
You can use any of the public computers at the library to access and print your documents in color or black and white.
By connecting to our Wi-Fi, you can also print directly from your personal device. We have wireless printers located behind our downstairs circulation desk and our upstairs information desk. Simply ask one of our staff to assist you with printing from your device. Please be advised that our wireless printers can only print in black and white.
