Computers and Printers
Special COVID restrictions
We currently offer only three adult computers and two youth computers to be used for 1 hour each day.
The library provides 14 adult computers, eight teen computers, and eight youth computers with access to the Internet, as well as use of the programs in Microsoft Office. The youth computers do have filtering on them. All the computers have printing capabilities.
Computer Access: We ask that residents of Kendall County sign up for a library card, if you don’t already have one. If you are a regular patron to the library and live outside of the county, and you are unable or unwilling to purchase a membership, then we can offer you a Digital Access Card, which allows you use of the computers only. If you’re a library guest, then we can print you a guest pass for the day.
We offer free wifi access throughout the building. You can even print from your device during your library visit. If you need to charge your device, please feel free to one of several charging stations on both floors.
Printing and Scanning Options
Our printing and scanning services costs $0.25 cents per black and white page and $1 for each color page.
You can use any of the public computers at the library to access and print your documents in color or black and white.
By connecting to our wifi, you can also print directly from your personal device. We have wireless printers located behind our downstairs circulation desk and our upstairs information desk, simply ask one of our staff to assist you with printing from your device. Please be advised that our wireless printers can only print in black and white.
We also provide printing over the Internet (PDF).
