Community Programs
The Boerne Police Department hosts and participates in programs and events throughout the year to engage with the community and partner with residents to promote public safety.
Some programs seek to build relationships between officers and the community while other programs allow residents to take an active role in crime prevention by sharing vital information with the department and investigators. National Night Out
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie.

Citizen's Law Enforcement Academy
The Citizen's Law Enforcement Academy is designed to give citizens a better understanding of the mission and operations of our agencies, to promote an understanding of the current challenges facing law enforcement, and to offer an opportunity for comments and suggestions.

Boerne Police Foundation
The Boerne Police Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation formed to facilitate donations of money and resources, which are used to benefit local law enforcement officers and their families.

Neighborhood Video Partnership Program
This program allows residents to support police investigations by voluntarily sharing video recordings from their home surveillance cameras and devices with the Boerne Police Department.

Crime Stoppers supports crime fighting by offering cash rewards to anonymous persons who provide information leading to the arrest and indictment of persons who have committed crimes in Boerne and Kendall County.
