Employee Recognition
True to Our Values
The City of Boerne is fortunate to have some of the best people working every day to serve our residents. Across each department, our employees regularly go above and beyond to provide excellent customer service while delivering top-notch results.
Employee Awards
Each year, City employees from all departments gather for an appreciation luncheon to celebrate our many shared successes and to recognize those employees who have earned individual awards for their service.
Value Awards
Since 2022, the City has given Value Awards to the five employees who best represent our five core values of Collaboration, Respect, Excellence, Integrity, and Service. Value Award recipients are nominated by their colleagues.
Directors' Awards
The nine Directors' Awards are presented to the employees whose attitude, work ethic, and performance represent the best of their respective departments. These are selected by the directors.
Staff Profiles
The staff profiles series spotlights City employees and the stellar work they do every day for our residents. Learn about each employee and find out some behind-the-scenes facts you might not know.
