The 2022 City of Boerne bond propositions were approved by voters in the November General Election, each with 60% of the vote. These bond propositions target specific areas for improvement to streets and mobility, as well as parks and open space. See a full review of the bond election process.

With both propositions now approved by voters, City staff are working to finalize designs and planning for each project. Progress for each project can be tracked online through the resources on this page. If you have questions about bond project, please email the City.

Voters approved $23 million in bond projects for Streets and Mobility improvements. Click on each project tab for details and timelines.

This proposition, as approved by voters, will provide funding for improvements to the City of Boerne's existing roadway infrastructure, turn lanes, intersections, and traffic signals. Potential projects may include but are not limited to the reconstruction of Adler Road and other streets, as well as improvements to intersections.

  1. Adler Road

Adler Road

The Adler Road project calls for a major reconstruction of the pavement along Adler Road from Esser Road to Main Street. Other improvements include:

  • The addition of a two-way center left turn lane
  • A widening of the road
  • Drainage improvements.

The condition of this road was regularly noted in the 2021 Citizen Survey. The City of Boerne has assessed Adler Road a Pavement Condition Index (PCI) rating of 22 out of 100, indicating a poor pavement condition.

  1. Northside Community Park

Northside Community Park

Located at 524 Adler Road, near the intersection of N. Plant Avenue/Topperwein Road and Adler Road, the 35 acres of land was purchased after the voter approved Quality of Life Bond Election in 2007. • All-abilities playscape
  • Additional flexible open space
  • Challenge course
  • Community room
  • Covered basketball pavilion
  • Dog park
  • Expanded skate park
  • Multi-use soccer and football fields with lights
  • Pickleball courts
