Discover the Building Blocks of Fun and Learning in our Youth Services Department!

The Patrick Heath Public Library’s Youth Department provides for the educational, recreational, and informational needs of children of all ages. Children will experience a sense of joy and wonder by exploring the world through their library.

Parent and Child Resources: This helpful guide lists a variety of resources that are helpful to parents and children, including special guides and fun, educational sites.

Homework Help: While the internet provides a wealth of resources for enrichment and homework, the sheer number can be overwhelming. Here you will find some interactive websites that provide resources and games to reinforce learning and help with homework.

Our Boerne History LibGuide is an excellent resource for school projects on local history!

See what is happening in Youth & Family Services!  Please check out our current Youth & Families Monthly Calendar (PDF) to learn more.

Thanks to the generous funding from the Friends of the Boerne Public Library, our library now has TumbleBooks! TumbleBooks is a collection of fiction and non-fiction titles, animated and talking picture books, along with math stories, read-alongs, chapter books, e-books and graphic novels. The collection also includes videos, games and puzzles. Your PHPL login information is necessary for free access through our library catalog.

Radio Storytime

Tune in to Boerne Radio (KBRN FM 103.9) for a weekly Saturday storytime at an early bird time of 7:45 a.m.. Enjoy a dramatic reading of a quality story suitable for the whole family. This storytime is generously sponsored by Mathnasium of Boerne. We are most grateful to Boerne Radio and Mathnasium of Boerne for this opportunity to bring the wonder of literature to the community.
