"The Engineering and Mobility Department ensures new and existing infrastructure will protect the community health, safety, and welfare."
Jeff Carroll, P.E.
The Engineering and Mobility Department ensures new projects are designed and constructed to the codes and requirements as adopted by the Boerne City Council. We maintain existing City streets and drainage rights-of-ways, manage the local and FEMA floodplains, and protect our watersheds.
Jeff has more than two decades of consulting engineering experience for municipal, federal and private clients. After receiving his engineering degree from Texas A&M in College Station, Jeff was the design engineer for numerous engineering projects in Boerne and throughout Texas. Projects have included roadway, utility, storm drainage engineering, FEMA flood studies, storm detention design and water quality design. His experience ranges from projects of less than an acre to hydrology studies and engineering plans involving watersheds with over 10,000 acres. Jeff became licensed to practice as a professional engineer in the State of Texas in 2004.
The Engineering and Mobility Department is responsible for the following core services:
Engineering Plan Review
Construction Inspection and Specifications
