Responsibilities

The Engineering and Mobility Department ensures new projects are designed and constructed to the codes and requirements as adopted by the Boerne City Council.  We maintain existing City streets and drainage rights-of-ways, manage the local and FEMA floodplains, and protect our watersheds.

Experience

Jeff has more than two decades of consulting engineering experience for municipal, federal and private clients. After receiving his engineering degree from Texas A&M in College Station, Jeff was the design engineer for numerous engineering projects in Boerne and throughout Texas. Projects have included roadway, utility, storm drainage engineering, FEMA flood studies, storm detention design and water quality design. His experience ranges from projects of less than an acre to hydrology studies and engineering plans involving watersheds with over 10,000 acres. Jeff became licensed to practice as a professional engineer in the State of Texas in 2004.

About Jeff

Jeff and his wife moved to Kendall County in 2003. His wife is a local teacher and his two sons attend Boerne schools. He has been active in several local organizations, he is a past president of the Hill Country Aggie Club, currently volunteers for various leadership roles for local Cub Scout and Boy Scout groups, and a Life Member for the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo where he has served on multiple committees.
