Disc Golf Course

About the Course

Boerne City Lake Park is home to an 18-hole disc golf course. The first nine holes were completed in 2008 and are located in a forested area lining the lake front. The first tee box is right off the paved parking lot near the volleyball courts and pavilion. From there, the course snakes through the shaded forest area before arriving at the tenth tee. The back nine holes were completed in 2021 and are in a more open area of the park with fresh growth trees sprouting up along the way.

Sport Information

Disc golf is played much like traditional golf, except that flying discs (frisbees) are used instead of a ball and club. The object of the game is the same as traditional golf - to complete the course in the fewest number of throws. Disc golf can be played and enjoyed by parkgoers of all ages.
