The Adopt-a-Park program is a volunteer supported program that invites citizens to help the Parks and Recreation Department to provide, protect, and preserve a Park System that promotes quality recreational, cultural, and outdoor experiences for the Boerne Community. Through this program a variety of group volunteer opportunities are available.

VFW Post 688 has adopted City Lake Park, River Road Park and Veterans Park

Boerne Soccer Club (FC Thunder) has adopted City Park.

The Parks & Recreation Department has many different opportunities for advertising or sponsorship.

You can also have a slide put into the pre movie slideshow at Movie in the Park.  This is for announcements such as birthdays, anniversaries, congratulations.  This is not for advertising events.  Please see Advertising Opportunities for this type of advertising.

The Memorial Bench Program provides the opportunity for our community members to honor a loved one, celebrate a special event in their lives, or honor a person or organization that has made a difference in the community through the dedication of a bench that will bring pleasure to visitors throughout its lifetime. The City of Boerne is very pleased to be offering additional Bricks for honoring our veterans, reservists, and active duty military personnel. This effort provides a permanent way of recognizing those whose service has meant so much to all of us.
