Lifelong Learning
The library offers events to encourage lifelong learning opportunities. Check out the calendar below to see what's happening at the library.
Historical Field Trips
Library staff, volunteers from the Dietert Community Archives, and anyone who is interested in history have the chance to head to a town or location of historical significance to learn more about the area in which we live.
Language Learning
English as a Second Language (ESL) classes take place in the spring and fall each year. Check our calendar to see when the next set of classes will be offered.
In addition, we offer one-on-one mentoring assistance to improve conversational language. We are always seeking volunteers to assist us with mentoring. Call for more information.
We also offer a language learning database, Mango Languages, through our catalog.
Electronic Databases
We offer a variety of databases that are sure to appeal to the interests of most people! You can learn how to fix your cherished vintage car, you can find out how to make a macramé owl, or discover the best way to write a cover letter and resume. This is just a small sample of all the resources available to you for free!
