Boerne Parks and Recreation hosts several concerts in the park throughout the year at Main Plaza. Read more below about the types of concerts and any upcoming shows.

Abendkonzert

The Boerne Village Band, founded in 1860 by German immigrant Karl Dienger, is the oldest continuously active German band outside of the Republic of Germany. In 1991 Mayor Patrick Heath revived the old Abendkonzert tradition in Boerne with a series of summer evening band concerts on Main Plaza. The free concerts were an overnight success and continue to gain popularity with each passing year.

Boerne Concert Band

The Boerne Concert Band is a nonprofit organization that provides a venue for local musicians to present popular music in concert for family-oriented audiences to enjoy. The band always puts on a great show when they play at Concerts in the Park.
