April 1 - April 30 @ Patrick Heath Public Library Youth Department

As part of our focus on fitness this month, we encourage children in Grades K through 5 to blast off to good health. Our summer theme this year will be outer space, and we are already on the launch pad, and hope you too will join us. Starting on April 1, students are invited to come to the Youth Department to pick up a Spacewalk Challenge log and pedometer. Every time the child walks 10,000 steps, he records the date in one of the planets on the log. When a planet is reached he or she can come to the library to get a sticker. Visit all the planets, and a special prize awaits! Supplies are limited, so be sure to come in early in the month of April to get your log and pedometer.
