The city has 3 parks with playground equipment located across the city.   There are 2 athletic oriented parks for softball, baseball, soccer, tennis and volleyball leagues.  City Lake Park is under construction and will offer fishing, boating, picnic and party facilities.  A hike and bike trail runs across the city for visitors and residents enjoyment.   A nature center promoting conservation of our heritage.  Historic downtown Boerne offers a variety of unique shops which include antiques, art, etc.   A downtown plaza which is the scene for market days, music concerts, car shows and other local events.
