C. T. and Eva Roberts deeded four lots in the Cibolo Park Addition to the City of Boerne on the 18th of June, 1945 - to honor the memory of Aaron and Allen Roeder who were killed in World War II while serving their Country.

The park is designated as a neighborhood park and serves the needs of the local residents..

The residents that surround the park have asked that it remain a simple green space without amenities.
