To increase efficiency and make the employment application process easier for potential employees, the City of Boerne has gone digital! Instead of downloading an application and turning it in at City Hall or via fax, applicants can now browse open positions, fill out an application, and then submit their application online.
When you’re on the City of Boerne homepage, click the “Employment” button on the menu located on the left side of the page. You will then be taken to our new online “City of Boerne Job Opportunities” page, where you can create an account, fill out your information and work history, and then submit your application for the position(s) that you’re interested in.
Once you’ve created an account, there’s no need to fill out another application if you see additional jobs that you’re interested in. Just simply insure that your information is up-to-date, and then submit your pre-filled application for whatever position interests you.
If you don’t have access to a computer, you can apply using your smartphone or tablet. There will also be a kiosk opening soon at City Hall, or you can use the public computers at Patrick Heath Public Library to easily apply.
