About the Assistant City Manager

Dan Blankenship joined the City of Boerne after serving the City of Stillwater for over fifteen years, most recently as their Deputy City Manager and Utilities Authority Director. Blankenship is a graduate of Colorado State University and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. He has held numerous positions in his over thirty-year career in municipal government, and brings a wealth of knowledge to the City of Boerne including experience with planning and zoning, economic development, governmental affairs, public works, utilities, transportation, operations, events, and recreation.
